Course Description
The Seneca Creek Greenway Trail Marathoncourse is over 95% single track dirt trails, includes water crossings and depending on the weather, could be sloppy and/or slippery.

The race is called 'close to a marathon' distance because the course will not be accurately measured and cannot be used as a qualifier for USATF events. According to the race officials, the marathon course is estimated to be between 26 and 27 miles.

Full Review:

In 2014, missing aid station at a critical point. Another aid station ran out of water. No hot food at the end as promised. Just junk food. In 2015, race was postponed to a date pulled out of thin air (not originally offered as a possible date) and that conflicted with a better race nearby (HAT). So a lot of people gave up on Seneca and did HAT which they had already registered for. RD lacks communication skills. Race page is missing critical information or is too vague to be useful; Comments/questions posted to Facebook page are censored.

Race Tips:

Wait until the last possible moment to register. It didn't fill up in 2015 so there's no reason to register early. Due to weather and possibility of cancellation, it only makes sense to wait.
