The main 2027 Boston Qualifying Cut-off Time Prediction Contest ended on September 18th. Winners of the main contest will be announced when the B.A.A. announces the official qualifying cut-off time for the 2027 Boston Marathon.

Everyone may enter the Second Chance Contest, including anyone who entered the original contest. A Second Chance entry is a separate entry and will not replace your original contest prediction. Entries will be accepted until the B.A.A. announces the qualifying cut-off time for the 2027 Boston Marathon.

In the past, we've tried to predict the qualifying cut-off time for the Boston Marathon. We crunched the numbers, looked at the trends, plotted the data and...failed miserably. This year we're leaving it up to the experts again...YOU! Predict the Boston 2027 cut-off time and if you are one of the closest, win some great prizes.

Last year, the FindMyMarthon.com community nearly predicted the exact cut-off time. The average time prediction was only 1 second off of the actual cut-off time of 4:34.

    Contest Rules:

    The original prediction contest is closed. The Second Chance Contest is open to everyone, including people who entered the original contest. Second Chance entries will be accepted until the B.A.A. announces the qualifying cut-off time for the 2027 Boston Marathon. Only one Second Chance entry per person.

    Original contest entries remain unchanged and are separate from Second Chance entries.

    Winners will be determined using the following criteria:
  • The winner will be the person who submits a valid entry that is closest to the qualifying cut-off time announced by the B.A.A.
  • In the event of a tie(s), the order will be determined by the entrant that is closest to the number of qualifiers who registered for Boston 2027, but did not meet the cut-off time.
  • If the B.A.A. does not release information on the number of qualifiers who did not meet the cut-off time or if a tie still exists, the order will be determined by the order of when the entry was received.
