Course Description

The Northeast Kingdom Marathon is a FREE USATF certified self-supported marathon designed to support Island Pond – a small former railroad town nestled deep within the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.

The race starts in downtown Island Pond, and head out to make a counter clockwise loop, plus a spur, around the lake. The course surface fpor each loop is pavement for the first 2 miles, gravel for the next 4 miles and pavement for the remainder.
