I loved that I passed my support crew 13 times. It's great for encouragement. Seeing the other runners multiple times was a plus as well
The course is a road that's closed permanently to traffic. It’s showing some wear and not completely smooth in places. Parking is available on the course which makes it nice for your nutrition etc. the weather was perfect on race day- overcast 38 to start.
The ice storm 2 days earlier put it in jeopardy but the park workers did an amazing job to clear the course in time. I'm grateful
Plenty of port a potties. Arrive an hour early to get good parking however, there were still good parking spots at 7:45. Well organized, friendly support.
