Review
A beautiful but challenging course with views of the red rocks throughout. The route is out and back half on road and half on dirt road with the low point at the turnaround and with a total of 1800 feet of ascent. Not one for those looking for a PR but great if you enjoy a more low key race with beautiful scenery and an undulating route.
Race Tips
It's a hilly route with the majority of the climbs in the second half of the course so taking it easy at the start is essential. The race is all over 4,000 feet so the altitude may also affect some runners.
