The race atmosphere is second to none. Water stations are very well placed and very well staffed. If this is your first Half or Full experience it will spoil you, this is a very nice and well done race, none like it anywhere.
The hills at mile 10 are not as bad as what it looks like on the profile, it is steady climb. The course is released in waves so it clears out rapidly. By 1/2 mile in the path is clear
Make sure you get into downtown early. If you don't have a motel downtown plan on your warm up being the walk to the start. Parking is a commodity
