Real runner feedback on course feel, crowd support, aid stations, and logistics (parking, hotels, restaurants).
This is a small race that is very well organized and supported. Lots of on course snacks and water. Not a ton of crowd support. The course is just challenging enough to be fun.
It's in Waco, TX. Come for the weekend! Dr Pepper museum! Fixer Upper HGTV stuff! Texas History! The first 6 miles of the marathon are also the half and 10K. That part isn't very hilly. The hills are later. Because there's also an Ultra the course is open a long time.
Stay at the Marriott courtyard or the Hyatt. Both are literally steps from the start.
