Real runner feedback on course feel, crowd support, aid stations, and logistics (parking, hotels, restaurants).
Well organized, very scenic course, historic area, no crowds, nice small town race, plenty of water stations, not a lot of cheering along route
Be prepared for the hills in the second half. suggest positive split and enjoy the views
Race provides plenty of parking, can pick up bib the morning of, great restaurants right at the finish
It is a tremendously beautiful course that distracts you from the seemingly endless hills. Perfect time of the year with the changing foliage and the weather was just perfect. Like running with friends but only a lot harder:-)
Of course pace yourself and train on hills as there are many many hills in this race.
