Real runner feedback on course feel, crowd support, aid stations, and logistics (parking, hotels, restaurants).
Flat, fast course, but not very visually appealing. Course was probably 95% through non-descript, warm and sunny residential streets (striking how little shade there was along the streets). Didn't even approach downtown Green Bay, so the course missed all the cool architecture. Ran a lap around Lambeau Field, which was pretty cool.
Most of the streets are concrete and not asphalt, so be ready for that.
The current sponsor is pulling out, so this might have been the last running of the GB Marathon unless they find a new sponsor. They announced it as the "25th and final running."
If the race continues, stay in a race-affiliated hotel and take advantage of the shuttle. Otherwise, you can park in a Lambeau Field parking lot and walk a short distance to the start line.
The people of Green Bay were awesome! The course is flat and the weather is usually very good. You can easily stay at a reasonably priced hotel within a mile or two of the starting line so logistics are easy with this race.
I would aim for ever so slightly negative splits given how flat this course is.
Again, this is just a very easy race logistically.
