Real runner feedback on course feel, crowd support, aid stations, and logistics (parking, hotels, restaurants).
The first half of this course really showcases the Gainesville / UF area highlights (34th street wall>downtown>campus), but once you turn to do the second half it is long, long, lonely stretches of roads.
Biggest tip is to take the 16th street hills SLOW...most experienced runners know, if you try to step on the gas over 16th street you will pay for it dearly later on. Try to stick with a pack if possible, the year I ran this, it was pretty windy.
Usually not a very crowded race, if you've planned successfully in the past for something like Disney, you'll be fine on this one.
