Real runner feedback on course feel, crowd support, aid stations, and logistics (parking, hotels, restaurants).
This is a very hilly marathon. Course is mostly road with a short out and back on greenway boardwalk. Lots of volunteers and aide stations. I did this race in 2020 during pandemic, so water bottles and coolers instead of cups. Weather can be either hot or perfect in Georgia in November. This one was warm and very windy. Beautiful runs by Lake Lanier and horse pastures..
Do lots of hill work on your long runs to prep for this one. This is not a PR course.
No worries on parking, as it's at the local fair grounds. Big restrooms near start, no port a potties.
