Real runner feedback on course feel, crowd support, aid stations, and logistics (parking, hotels, restaurants).
Race director and crew were amazing, responsive and went out of their way for the runners. The marathon usually only gets less than 40 people but with the relay the numbers increase. Part of a hal, 10k and 5k so overall about 1600 runner. Great volunteers, fuel stations about every 2.5k. Shorter events (half, 10k and 5k are what draw the crowds and numbers. Makes it feel like the perfect sized race.
Elevation gain is a little higher than Boston. To say it is flat is a little optimistic. There are no longer steep uphills. Best plan is to even split as with most marathons but with the rolling nature of the course this becomes even more important. I really enjoyed the entire event.
Pretty easy to get around once in Sudbury.
