Good Luck!
By E about 2024

Poorly marked. Roads not closed to traffic. Most importantly water stations were not set up, not manned, and the ones that were had barely any water in the cups.
Race Tips
Skip this race and wait for Cowtown.

Poor Marathon Organization
By AVC about 2024
Review
First off, this marathon does not have road closure, so you will be running on the trail with local residents and it can be inconvenient to continually pass/be aware of others that aren't running the race. Also, they have those local kiddie trains that pass through the parks that I had to wait for during the last bit of the marathon. Very little crowd support except for one area around mile 9-11. The water situation towards the end of the marathon was not manned, so basically left to yourself the last 5 miles - very sad and lonely. Keep in mind this race had no shade the last 15 miles of the race, so if it's a sunny and hot day, you will not have any shade relief.
The end of the race only included 1 bathroom, which was a nightmare. They had poor organization and actually ran out of beer for any of the marathoners, the literal only thing I was looking forward to drinking during those last 4 hot miles of the race. This race has a 5k, 10k, 10 mile, 1/2, 20 miler and marathon, so hardly anyone racing the marathon.

No water, no snacks, no porta potties
By AB about 2024
Review
This was the absolute worst race I've ever done. They only had water stations the first 5 miles, there were no porta potties during a lot of the miles so you'd have to find somewhere else to go, no fruit or anything, no crowds cheering, worst race ever.

Small but beautiful
By MGM about 2019
Review
This race is pretty well organized and pretty small (about 800 runners). On 2019, the weather was pretty hot and the wind at nearly 20 km\hr made it challenging in spite it's flatness. I did not appreciate that some water stands did not had people handing out the cups but instead just had them on the tables (which made it difficult to grab them on the go). The course is beautiful with great views to keep you inspired, but the paths are narrow which made the u turns quite difficult.
Race Tips
The course is two laps: 10kish one way and back and the almost the same thing (which is kind of nice since you know what to expect).
