Real runner feedback on course feel, crowd support, aid stations, and logistics (parking, hotels, restaurants).
It's kind of a boring course, especially given that it's a half you do twice, but it's fairly flat and well staffed for water stops. It's easily accessible for spectators, parking is easy, fun cup/medal this year, and the upgrade to the sweatshirt instead of the T-shirt is an easy call for how little extra it is. There's a free beer at the end and you can take pics with the capital building in the background.
Be ready for a cool day with layers.
