Real runner feedback on course feel, crowd support, aid stations, and logistics (parking, hotels, restaurants).
- I got 1,585ft of elevation gain throughout this course.
- The highway (which is what the course is run on) is not closed during this marathon, and though there is a heavy police presence, cars still fly around you.
- There is no crowd support and limited aid stations. After mile 16, I wanted water and didn't see any for over 2 miles.
- Expect hills, steep hills, even a mile long hill between 16-17 miles.
Very small field of runners, minimal crowd support, and is run on a county highway that has a heavy slanted curve at times.
If you run this, assume you will be running a solo run. Crowd support along the route is limited to the aid stations.
