This Race is being put on to give runners a shot at a BQ in March with some better weather! To qualify to race in this event you must have run within 5 min of your BQ time or faster in last 3 years! If you have never run a Marathon and would like to attempt a BQ you can still qualify with a half marathon time.
The course is a on the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake. Full Marathon course will be USATF Certified course - a Boston Qualifying race.
