The course was super flat, It is a loop which I like. It goes though town at the beginning, along a long stretch of highway which was the worst part trying to avoid cars, then through some beautiful wooded areas. There were few people cheering but everyone was very nice. More than enough water stations, two that had Stinger, porta-johns at almost all of the water stations. On this site it says there are no pacers but there were. the weather was great. One of the volunteers at packet pickup was not very friendly but everyone else was.
I got an air B and B a block away from Marathon park which allowed me to walk to the race but it was raining so we drove. There was plenty of parking. There is also a noodles restaurant right near the marathon park where packet pick up and the start and finish lines were.
