Melissa's review of 2017 McAllen Marathon.

Review

I was happy at the number of water stations placed around the path. I was disappointed at the lack of stations that provided the fruit/snacks for a boost. This year there was only one near the end. Previous years had a lot more.

Race Tips

It's better to run on the sidewalk for even ground than on the road. I felt like I was running lopsided.

Logistical Tips (Hotels, Restaurants, Parking, Discounts, etc.)

I live here so parking/hotel is not an issue, sorry!
