I've seen the race criticized because of the dangerous portions along the dam and on Orchard. I must agree as I had trouble with leg cramps (my responsibility) and was having trouble controlling my direction, and with the lack of paved shoulders it did give me cause for concern. I don't have a suggestion, other than to provide more marshals to warn/remind drivers. I'm not impressed with the size of the medal as I just hung it in the garage with my others. I was disappointed with the shirts as they didn't even tell the events. Finisher shirts would have been nice. Ok, enough of that. The people were friendly, the number of aid stations and port potties was excellent, I liked the out and back format as I got to see all the other participants. Thanks for asking.
