The Potomac River Run Marathon course is a narrow (12-foot) wide unpaved trail, entirely flat, past 150-year-old locks and gatehouses. The course is very flat with the highest point at 110 feet and the lowest at 29 feet.

Very small, flat and fast. Felt like a training run. No lost time getting drinks or having to deal with crowds and really easy to jump off the path and go to the bathroom. I pr'd at 48 years old!
