**2016 PA Grand Canyon Marathon Cancelled**
The 2015 PA Grand Canyon Marathon has been rescheduled to be run as two half-marathons due to PennDOTís road construction in the area.
The marathon will return in 2016.
The PA Grand Canyon start and finish lines are located in Colton Point State Park. The course is an out-ann-back route along the west rim of the canyon. The turnaround point is at Bradley Wales.
A little over 5 miles of the course surface is paved, but most is graded, hard packed gravel. It is a road, not a technical trail, just not asphalt for the most part.
Rankings will be listed for 2016 at the end of the year.
In 2014, 4.2% of finishers qualified for the Boston Marathon.
