**Due to a CalTrans closure of the Santa Ana River Trail Honkers the 2015 and 2016 Honker's Motivational Marathon have been cancelled. Race scheduled to return on January 15, 2017.**
The Honker's Motivational Marathon runs entirely along the paved Santa Ana River Trai.
The course heads west on the Santa Ana River Trail toward Anaheim Stadium and turns around at the 6.55 mile mark. Once back at the start, marathoners will continue east on the trail past the Mercado Shopping center and run on the trail that parallels La Palma Avenue before turning around and heading back to the finish line at the park.
