The point-to-point Tri-States Marathon course starts just before the summit of “Utah Hill” and is entirely downhill for the first nine miles in Utah.
The course then travels 17 miles in Arizona. The first seven miles gently descend and the next ten have a few rolling hills as the course runs towards the Nevada border.
The finish line is at Virgin Valley High School in Mesquite.
There is just one turn on the entire route.
The Tri-States Marathon was the 448th largest marathon in the U.S. in 2014. Ranking for last year will be updated once the results have been posted.
