The Destination Labrador Trapline Marathon route is 61.5% flat, 18.4% ascending (with a high point of 68 meters above sea level) and 20.1% descending.
The course features plateau views between Spruce Park and the Canadian Side, Gosling Lake, Mount Shana, the Goose River and a nicely wooded highway.
The Destination Labrador Trapline Marathon was the 51st largest marathon in Canada last year and was the 55th largest in 2015.
Last year 11.1% of finishers qualified for the Boston Marathon and 6.7% of runners qualified for Boston in 2015.
This gives the Destination Labrador Trapline Marathon the 29th highest percentage of Boston Marathon qualifiers in Canada last year and the 41st highest percentage in 2015.
