Course Description

The Carlsbad Marathon course is made up of minor rolling hills with a few challenging climbs. Much of the course is along the Pacific Ocean. The course ranges from a highest elevation of 328 feet down to sea level. The highest elevation is reached gradually between miles 5 and 9 and then returns down to mile 13.
