Description: Ridge Runner Marathon

All courses begin and end in North Bend State Park. The altitude of the area ranges from 500 ft to 1300feet above sea level. The first portion of the race is along winding paved roads, and returns back to the park along the NorthBend Rail Trail, which is similar to a dirt/gravel road that is very flat and straight.

The Sunburst Marathon course is flat with a few short steep hills and one half mile incline.

KF's review of 2012 race.

Review

Many water stations and Gu provided, nice course, slightly hill, but nothing extreme. Really enjoyed myself, we had great weather in 2012. The 6am start is nice hen June weather can be warm.

Race Tips

Really watch the markings,4 races going on and the markings are be color...need to make sure you closely followthem to not get of course.

Logistical Tips (Hotels, Restaurants, Parking, Discounts, etc.)

Parking is Free...lots of it for the Marathon runners, gets packed for the later races.
